2. Who This Service Is For

Age Wise Index™ is designed for use by:

Real estate professionals
Senior living advisors and related industry professionals

It is not intended for direct consumer use.

3. Information We Collect

a) Account and Profile Information

When you register or use the Service, we may collect:

Name
Email address
Password (stored in a scrambled form that cannot be read back, including by us)
Brokerage name, professional designations, phone number, city, LinkedIn address and logo, if you add them to your profile
The date and time you agreed to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Professional Disclaimer

b) Screening and Usage Data

When using the Service, we may collect:

Responses to screening questions, and any comments and photos you add
Property details you enter, such as the address, and any client name you enter
Generated scores and reports

If you enter information about a client, you are responsible for having that client's permission to share it with us for the purpose of preparing their screening and report.

c) Technical Information

We may automatically collect:

IP address
Device and browser type
Usage data and interaction with the Service, including through cookies and Google Analytics (see section 16)

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
Generate screening results
Improve performance, features, and user experience
Communicate with users (including updates and support)
Process subscriptions and payments
Ensure security and prevent misuse

5. Payments and Third-Party Services

We use Stripe to process payments. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy.

We also use Render to host the Service, SendGrid to send account and billing emails, and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information:

With trusted service providers who help operate the Service
Where required by law or legal process
To protect our rights, users, or the integrity of the Service

7. International Use and Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries outside of your own. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your information across international borders, subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information.

Security Limitations:

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Fraud Prevention:

While we implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee protection against unauthorized access, fraudulent activity, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access.

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

11. Screening Tool Disclaimer (Data Use)

Information entered into Age Wise Index™ is provided by users and used solely to generate screening outputs. We do not independently verify user-provided data and are not responsible for how results are interpreted or used.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

15. PIPEDA Compliance (Canadian Users)

16. Cookies and Session Data

Age Wise Index™ uses two kinds of cookies. A cookie is a small piece of data stored in your browser.

A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. It lasts for up to 30 days, or until you sign out.

Analytics cookies from Google Analytics help us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive. We do not use advertising cookies. You can turn off Google Analytics for this site on our analytics opt-out page.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you will not be able to sign in.
